Introduction

The China seagrass webpages are established based on research achievements of many Chinese sagrass scientists, great support of many departments, such as UNEP/GEF, SEPA and SOA of China and assistance of many colleagues.
The China seagrass webpages, as a part of the Seagrass Protection Plan of China, will play an important role in the propaganda for protection and sustainable use of seagrass as well as will provide information about seagrass and report the newly advances of research on seagrass at home and abroad in time. We hope this new communication channel will provide information exchange for researchers, decision makers, environmental protection organizations and the public.
